Do you think about using more herbs? Are you wondering just how good they are for us to consume? Just what are the benefits of adding gerbs to our daily intake of food? Herbs are actually used as bases in most medicines, this is a fact that many people may not be aware of. Many herbs have great health benefits, and some improve the symptoms of arthritis, Alzheimer's, and many other aliments.
Just because herbs are a natural ingredient, does not mean that all of them are safe for us to consume. There are two herbs that are highly poisonous and should never be taken, Belladonna and night-shade. Our bodies see herbs as natural and most of the nutrients go straight to our cells, unlike the synthetic drugs which our bodies see as foreign and only consume small amounts into our cells. The rest of these medicines go into our blood stream and are not very useful.
Although you think that taking more than the recommended dosage of an herbal supplement would not be harmful, that is not true. You should always take just the recommended dose of any medications. Herbal supplements will make you very sick if you take more than recommended by the manufacturer. You might also wonder, since herbs are natural, if they have any side effects that come with taking them. Yes, there are many side effects from even taking herbal medicine. What is the most common side effect from herbs? Gastrointestinal problems is the most recorded side effect from people that use herbs. Herbs are a great and natural way to help keep our bodies healthy. All you have to do is beware of what the herb you are taking is for and all of the side effects that come with them.
